Surround View Camera

Take stock of what surrounds you thanks to the available 270° Surround View Camera (shown) and the available Trailer 360° Surround View Camera. These strategically placed cameras offer visibility around your rig and help you make informed choices while you navigate.

 
Reconfigurable Center Console

Store 15-inch laptops and standard-sized folders with ease in the available reconfigurable full-length center console. There's also a wide cell phone/tablet docking area, an available wireless charging mat and a three-position sliding cup holder tray.


6.4L HEMI V8 Engine

The 6.4L HEMI® V8 engine is the standard engine for the 2023 Ram Chassis Cab. Using variable-cam timing and Fuel Saver Technology, it provides full-rated V8 power when needed and outstanding efficiency when operating in four-cylinder mode. The 8HP75 eight-speed automatic transmission offers reliability and efficiency and features eight speeds and on-the-fly shift mapping to accommodate changing loads and road conditions. The AISIN six-speed automatic transmission is also available and has been optimized for exceptional towing as well as outstanding Power Take Off capability, impressive efficiency and low noise, vibration and harshness.


6.7L Cummins® Turbo Diesel I6 Engine

The available 6.7L Cummins® Turbo Diesel I6 engine is responsive and efficient while offering exceptional torque, towing and hauling capability on 4500 and 5500 models. A fully electronically controlled transmission, the AISIN six-speed automatic transmission has been optimized for powerful towing capability on Ram 4500 and Ram 5500 models and features software control for seamless shifting. It is available across most of the 2023 Ram Chassis Cab lineup (excludes Ram 3500 10K models) and offers Power Take Off capability.

The Ram 4500 Chassis Cab is built to bear heavy loads. Case in point: when properly equipped, it has an available Gross Combined Weight Rating of up to 37,500 pounds.


Power Take Off (PTO) Configurations

Access PTO no matter your upfit. Both available Aisin automatic transmissions provide PTO access from the left or right side with 4x4 or 4x2 configurations, plus the available 6.7L Cummins® Turbo Diesel I6 engine lets you choose between two speeds with Split-Shaft Mode.
